An Art Teacher is responsible for educating students on various forms of visual arts, encouraging creative expression, and fostering an appreciation for art. They develop lesson plans, provide technical instruction, and organize art projects for students of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons that incorporate various mediums, techniques, and styles
• Teach students fundamental art concepts, such as color theory, perspective, and composition
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their artwork
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
• Assess student progress and track their development in art skills
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into other subjects
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate with parents and caregivers about student progress
• Stay current on trends and developments in the art world to enhance teaching practices
