Job Description: Estimator- Pool & Water Features

The Estimator for Pool & Water Features is responsible for determining the cost of materials, equipment, and labor required to complete construction projects involving pools and water features. They work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide accurate estimates and help ensure projects are completed within budget.

 

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans and specifications to understand scope of work
• Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information
• Attend project meetings to discuss budget and scheduling
• Provide input on value engineering opportunities
• Monitor project costs and provide updates to project team
• Ensure estimates are accurate and in line with project requirements

Skill Sets:

• Knowledge of construction methods and materials related to pools and water features
• Experience in estimating for construction projects
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in construction estimating software
