Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cyber policy frameworks to protect government networks and sensitive information
• Conduct regular assessments of cyber threats and vulnerabilities facing government systems
• Collaborate with other government agencies and cybersecurity experts to develop coordinated responses to cyber incidents
• Advise government officials on cybersecurity best practices and emerging threats
• Monitor and analyze cybersecurity legislation and regulations to ensure compliance with government standards
• Lead training and awareness programs for government employees on cyber hygiene and security measures

Skill Sets:

• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Experience developing and implementing cyber policy frameworks
• Familiarity with government IT systems and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus
