An HR Specialist is responsible for various tasks related to human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and compliance with labor laws. They work closely with managers and employees to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
• Develop and implement training programs for employees
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
• Handle employee benefits and compensation
• Maintain employee records and HR systems
• Assist with strategic HR initiatives and projects

Skill Sets:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Experience with HRIS and other HR software
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred
