Job Description - L1 Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Provide first level technical support to end users for software, hardware, and network-related issues.
• Monitor and respond to incoming support tickets and emails in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues remotely or on-site.
• Escalate complex issues to higher levels of support as needed.
• Document all support interactions and resolutions in a ticketing system.
• Ensure all devices are properly configured and updated with the latest software patches.
• Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware (laptops, desktops, printers)
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus
