The Purchase Officer is responsible for acquiring goods and services needed for the operation of the company. They will be in charge of sourcing, negotiating and purchasing goods and services from vendors, ensuring that the company receives the best possible quality at the most competitive price. The Purchase Officer will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with vendors, monitoring inventory levels and keeping track of purchases.

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and selecting vendors to supply goods and services
• Negotiating prices and terms with vendors
• Issuing purchase orders and monitoring delivery schedules
• Ensuring that purchases are made in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Maintaining relationships with vendors and resolving any issues that may arise
• Monitoring inventory levels and making recommendations for reordering
