The Senior IT Governance Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the IT governance framework within the organization. They will develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The Senior IT Governance Specialist will also work closely with senior management to align IT governance with business objectives and drive continuous improvement in IT processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT governance policies, procedures, and controls
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Monitor and report on IT governance performance metrics
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align IT governance with business objectives
• Lead and support IT governance projects and initiatives
• Provide guidance and training on IT governance best practices
• Stay current on emerging IT governance trends and technologies

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks and standards (e.g. COBIT, ITIL, ISO/IEC 27001)
• Experience developing and implementing IT governance policies and procedures
• Ability to analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Project management experience
• Certifications in IT governance (e.g. CISA, CGEIT) are preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
