Job Description:

The Analyst-AML, Transaction Monitoring is responsible for identifying and investigating suspicious transactions to prevent money laundering and fraudulent activities. They work closely with compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze transaction data for suspicious activities
• Investigate and report suspicious transactions following company policies and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
• Assist in developing and implementing transaction monitoring strategies
• Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance detection capabilities

Skill Sets:

• Strong understanding of AML regulations and transaction monitoring processes
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Proficient in using transaction monitoring software and systems
• Relevant certifications such as CAMS or ACAMS are a plus
