The CMDB Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) solutions within an organization. They work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the CMDB aligns with the business needs and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing CMDB solutions based on industry best practices
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the CMDB
• Developing and maintaining CMDB policies and procedures
• Integrating the CMDB with other IT service management tools
• Providing training and support to end-users on CMDB usage
• Performing regular audits and updates to the CMDB
• Creating reports and dashboards to track CMDB performance

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of CMDB concepts and best practices
• Experience with CMDB tools, such as ServiceNow or BMC Atrium
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
