Job Description: CSSD AID (Central Sterile Supply Department Assistant in Charge)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the CSSD department
• Supervise the sterilization of medical equipment and supplies
• Ensure compliance with sterilization standards and guidelines
• Train and mentor CSSD staff members
• Maintain inventory of sterile supplies
• Monitor and maintain equipment and instrument sterilization records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper sterile techniques
• Assist with quality control and assurance processes

• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and procedures
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Experience in CSSD or healthcare setting preferred
• Certification in sterile processing a plus
