Job Description: ELV Estimator

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed cost estimates for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as security, fire alarm, and audiovisual systems.
• Review project specifications and drawings to accurately determine project scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
• Prepare and submit bids for ELV projects in a timely manner.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project meetings as required.
• Monitor and analyze project costs, budget variances, and forecasting.

Skill Sets:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of ELV systems and industry best practices.
• Experience in estimating software such as Bluebeam or Accubid is a plus.
• Certification in estimating or related field is preferred.
