The Facilities Maintenance (FM) Engineer is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment in order to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the facility. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with various systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment

Skill Sets:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
• Experience with facilities maintenance software is a plus
