FM Supervisor Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the maintenance and operation of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation
• Schedule and supervise maintenance staff and contractors for repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the optimal functioning of facility equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols in all maintenance activities
• Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
• Coordinate with other departments to address facility-related issues and support special projects
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities, budget tracking, and performance metrics

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent knowledge of facility maintenance practices and procedures
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot facility equipment issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in computer software for maintenance tracking and reporting
• Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field
