FM Supervisor (MEP) Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the maintenance and operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a facility.
• Supervise a team of technicians and ensure they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the efficient operation of MEP systems.
• Monitor and inspect MEP systems regularly to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance work as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in the maintenance and operation of MEP systems.
• Prepare reports and documentation on the status of MEP systems and maintenance activities.
• Support the Facility Manager in budgeting and planning for MEP maintenance and repair activities.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial facilities.
• Experience in supervising and managing maintenance technicians in an MEP environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot MEP issues effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with team members, contractors, and vendors.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to MEP systems maintenance.
• Proficient in computer programs and software used for MEP maintenance and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing maintenance activities and documentation.
