The Government Relations Officer is responsible for fostering positive relationships between the organization and government officials at all levels. They will monitor legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the organization, and develop strategies to effectively communicate the organization's positions on relevant issues.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with government officials to advocate for the organization's interests
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization
• Develop and implement strategies to promote the organization's positions on key issues
• Prepare briefing materials and presentations for government meetings
• Coordinate advocacy campaigns and outreach efforts
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
