A Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer - Mechanical is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations in a mechanical engineering setting. They oversee safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and implement policies to create a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
• Train employees on safety protocols and best practices
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure safety measures are integrated into design and manufacturing processes
• Provide technical expertise on safety and environmental practices
• Prepare and present reports to management on HSE performance
