Job Description: Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area
• Train and supervise kitchen stewards to ensure efficient and timely dishwashing and kitchen cleaning
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
• Inspect kitchen facilities and equipment to ensure they meet company standards for cleanliness and safety
• Assist in the recruitment and hiring of new kitchen stewarding staff
• Compile and maintain records of kitchen cleanliness and sanitation practices

Skill Sets:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant or hotel setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines in a kitchen environment
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
