Job Description:

The Leasing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the leasing process for residential or commercial properties. This includes marketing available units, screening potential tenants, preparing lease agreements, and communicating with current tenants.

Responsibilities:

• Market available properties through various channels
• Screen potential tenants through background checks and credit reports
• Show properties to prospective tenants
• Prepare and negotiate lease agreements
• Collect rent payments and enforce lease terms
• Address tenant concerns and handle maintenance requests
• Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities

Skill Sets:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and leasing regulations
• Proficiency in property management software
• Experience in sales or marketing is a plus
