MEP Coordinator Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in construction projects
• Review and interpret MEP drawings and specifications
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure MEP systems are integrated properly
• Manage MEP subcontractors and oversee their work to meet project deadlines
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure MEP systems are installed correctly and in compliance with building codes
• Resolve any MEP-related issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
• Provide technical support and guidance to project team members regarding MEP systems
• Ensure MEP systems meet quality standards and project requirements

Skill Sets Required:

• Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Project management skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to MEP systems
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with different stakeholders
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
