Job Description: Neonatology Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to newborn infants in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
• Diagnose and treat conditions specific to newborns, including respiratory distress, infections, and birth defects
• Oversee the care of premature infants and those born with low birth weight
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, nurses, and respiratory therapists
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient cases and treatment plans
• Educate medical staff, students, and families on neonatal care best practices

Skill Sets:

• Board certification in neonatology
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of neonatal medicine
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
