The Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring our company's costs and expenses to ensure profitability. This role will be crucial in providing accurate financial insights to management to aid in decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to track and analyze expenses
• Prepare regular financial reports outlining cost variance analysis
• Collaborate with various departments to gather cost information and implement cost-saving strategies
• Analyze pricing structures and recommend pricing adjustments based on cost analysis
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
• Participate in the budgeting process and provide input on cost projections

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments

• CPA or CMA certification preferred
