The Charge Nurse-OPD is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the outpatient department (OPD) in a healthcare facility. They work closely with the nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow within the OPD.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and leading a team of nurses and support staff in the OPD
• Assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and providing direct patient care when necessary
• Managing patient flow and ensuring timely appointments and treatments
• Monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided in the OPD
• Handling patient complaints and resolving any issues that may arise
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Participating in staff training and development programs
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines
