We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. The Clinical Nurse-NICU will provide specialized care for newborns who are premature or ill, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for these vulnerable patients.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring the health status of newborns in the NICU
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educating parents on newborn care and providing emotional support
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
• Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for newborns

Skill Sets

• Current RN license and BLS certification
• Prior experience working in a NICU setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals
