Job Description:

A Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for desktop systems, software, and hardware. They assist users with technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure that desktop systems are functioning properly.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software
• Provide technical support to users, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
• Manage user accounts and permissions
• Perform system upgrades and ensure security compliance
• Document technical procedures and provide training to users

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Experience with desktop hardware and software troubleshooting
• Knowledge of network protocols and configurations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus
