An Identity & Access Management Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Identity and Access Management solutions within an organization. They work closely with security teams to ensure that access to sensitive data and systems is properly managed and controlled.

Responsibilities

• Developing Identity & Access Management strategies and roadmaps
• Designing and implementing IAM solutions based on industry best practices
• Integrating IAM solutions with existing systems and applications
• Managing user access and permissions across multiple platforms
• Conducting access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies
• Providing support and troubleshooting for IAM systems

Skill Sets

• Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts and technologies
• Experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Okta, or Azure AD
• Knowledge of security protocols and standards (e.g. SAML, OAuth, LDAP)
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other IT professionals
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred
