Job Description: Inclusion Teacher

An Inclusion Teacher works in an educational setting to support students with disabilities by providing inclusive and differentiated instruction to meet their individual needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with general education teachers to create inclusive lesson plans
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Provide additional support and accommodations for students with disabilities in the classroom
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Communicate regularly with parents, school staff, and special education team members
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance inclusive teaching practices

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Patience and flexibility in working with students with disabilities
• Ability to use assistive technology and other resources to support student learning
• Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities
