Job Description: Insurance Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Verify and validate insurance information for patients
  • Submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner
  • Track and follow up on pending claims
  • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients regarding insurance questions
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and policies

Skill Sets:

  • Strong understanding of insurance terminology and processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in computer software for claims processing and documentation
  • Problem-solving and customer service skills
