Shift Engineer Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment in a manufacturing plant during designated shifts
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues as they arise
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth production processes
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with industrial machinery and equipment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
