An Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist is responsible for working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities to implement behavior intervention programs.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting behavior assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
• Implementing behavior intervention strategies based on the principles of ABA
• Collecting data on client progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Communicating regularly with clients' families and other members of the treatment team
• Providing training and support to parents and caregivers on implementing behavior strategies at home

Skill Sets:

• Strong understanding of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Patient, compassionate, and empathetic with a passion for helping individuals with developmental disabilities
• Ability to collect and analyze data effectively
• Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred
