A Cashier Cum Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions and maintaining financial records. They handle cash, credit card, and check transactions, reconcile cash drawers, and provide customer service. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and preparing financial reports.

Responsibilities:

• Manage cash transactions, including receiving payments and giving change
• Process credit card and check transactions
• Reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift
• Maintain accurate accounting records
• Prepare financial reports
• Provide customer service to resolve any payment-related issues
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
• Handle general accounting tasks, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable

Skill Sets:

• Excellent numerical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Previous experience in a cashier or accounting role is preferred
