As an estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project requirements and preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects. This role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to develop detailed bid proposals.

Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications and blueprints to determine material and labor requirements
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather relevant data
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budget proposals
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing quotes
• Present cost estimates to clients and negotiate prices as needed
• Track project expenses and adjust estimates as necessary
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in construction estimating software and spreadsheets
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Experience in construction project management is a plus
