Job Description: HSE Officer

The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer is responsible for ensuring that the workplace complies with safety, health, and environmental regulations. They implement safety procedures, conduct risk assessments, and investigate accidents. The HSE Officer also develops and implements policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor health and safety procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards
• Investigate accidents and develop reports with recommendations for prevention
• Develop and implement training programs for employees on health and safety practices
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certification in health and safety or related field is preferred
