Job Description - HSE Officer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences
• Provide training to employees on HSE practices and procedures
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving HSE performance

Skill Sets:

• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze data
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certification in HSE management (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA) is a plus
