Job Description: IT Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Providing technical support to end-users in person, over the phone, or via email
• Resolving hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, and peripherals
• Performing routine maintenance and upgrades on systems and software
• Setting up new users and managing user accounts in Active Directory
• Managing and monitoring network infrastructure and security
• Documenting support tickets and resolutions in a help desk system
• Collaborating with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
• Providing training and guidance to end-users on IT tools and systems

Skill Sets:

• Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and cloud services
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and protocols
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional are a plus
