Job Title: Junior Estimator

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior estimators in preparing cost estimates for construction projects
• Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements
• Calculate quantities and costs of materials, labor, and equipment needed for projects
• Prepare and submit bids for projects
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates
• Track and monitor project costs and budgets

Skill Sets:

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Experience with estimating software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam)
