Junior Civil Designer

Job Description

The Junior Civil Designer will assist senior designers and engineers in preparing plans and designs for civil engineering projects. They will work on various stages of design, including drafting, modeling, and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating detailed design drawings using CAD software
• Conduct site visits and gather necessary data for projects
• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates
• Assist in performing calculations for grading, drainage, and utility systems
• Collaborate with project team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Skill Sets

• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
