The KG Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children in kindergarten. They must plan and implement age-appropriate activities, lesson plans, and daily schedules to ensure the children are learning and growing in a safe and supportive setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum guidelines
• Use a variety of teaching methods to engage young learners
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Establish and maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Communicate with parents and caregivers about student progress and behavior
• Coordinate and participate in school events and activities

Skill Sets

• Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and understanding when working with young children
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Organizational skills to plan and implement effective lessons and activities
