Lifeguard Supervisor

Job Description:

The Lifeguard Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the lifeguard team at a swimming pool, beach, or other aquatic facility. They are in charge of ensuring the safety of all swimmers and enforcing pool rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and coordinating the lifeguard team to ensure adequate coverage of all areas
• Training and mentoring lifeguards on proper safety procedures and protocols
• Conducting regular inspections of pool facilities and equipment for safety hazards
• Responding to and managing emergency situations, such as water rescues or first aid incidents
• Enforcing pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons
• Maintaining accurate records of incidents, training, and certifications

Skill Sets:

• Current lifeguard certification and CPR/First Aid certification
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
• Knowledge of pool safety protocols and regulations
• Experience in lifeguarding or a related field
