A Material Engineer-MEP is responsible for ensuring that the materials used in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are of the highest quality and meet industry standards. They work closely with design and construction teams to select materials that are durable, cost-effective, and suitable for the project's requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting material research and analysis to determine the best materials for MEP systems
• Collaborating with design and construction teams to develop material specifications
• Testing materials for strength, durability, and performance
• Monitoring material supply chains to ensure quality and compliance
• Troubleshooting material-related issues during construction and operation
• Providing technical support and guidance to project teams

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of materials science and engineering principles
• Experience with material testing and analysis techniques
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
