Job Description: MEP Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Designing and producing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for buildings and construction projects
• Working with architects and other engineers to ensure MEP systems are integrated into overall building design
• Conducting site visits and inspections to assess existing building systems and determine potential upgrades or modifications
• Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for MEP systems
• Coordinating with contractors and vendors to oversee installation of MEP systems and ensure compliance with design guidelines and project requirements
• Conducting performance evaluations and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality of MEP systems

Skill Sets:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software tools
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing principles and systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail and ability to perform thorough analysis of complex systems
• Project management skills to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines
