Job Description: MEP Draftsman

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings
• Work closely with engineers and architects to ensure design specifications are met
• Produce accurate and precise drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers and other team members
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure materials and equipment are in compliance with design plans
• Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions
• Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices for MEP design

Skill Sets:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex technical drawings
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to MEP systems
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Experience in MEP design or drafting is preferred
• Associate's degree in drafting or a related field is required
