Job Description: MOH Licensed School Nurse

Responsibilities:

• Provide health services to students and staff members in the school setting
• Administer first aid and medication as needed
• Assess and address the health needs of students on an individual basis
• Develop and implement health care plans for students with chronic illnesses
• Provide health education to students and staff on a variety of topics
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for students
• Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parents to promote a healthy school environment
• Participate in school health committees and school safety programs

Skill Sets:

• Valid MOH License as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of common childhood illnesses and injuries
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
• Commitment to promoting health and wellness in the school community
