The Payroll Officer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees. They play a critical role in the organization by monitoring payroll systems, managing employee records, and staying up-to-date on relevant payroll laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for all employees on a regular basis
• Verify timesheets and ensure accuracy of employee hours worked
• Calculate and process any adjustments, deductions, or bonuses
• Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues
• Stay informed on all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
• Generate reports for management as needed
