Job Description: PROCUREMENT ENGINEER-MEP

Responsibilities:

• Identify and source equipment, materials, and subcontractors for MEP projects
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and vendors
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to coordinate procurement activities
• Monitor inventory levels and manage supplier relationships
• Review and analyze bids and proposals
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and components
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in procurement or construction industry preferred
