A Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from inception to completion. They ensure that the project is completed within budget by accurately estimating and monitoring costs.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project completion
• Monitor project progress and costs to ensure budget compliance
• Negotiate and analyze costs for materials, equipment, and labor
• Prepare and present reports on project finances to senior management
