A Radiology Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs to assist medical professionals in diagnosing and treating patients. They work closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate imaging results.

Responsibilities:

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis
• Position patients correctly and administer contrast media as needed
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure quality and safety
• Assist radiologists in interpreting images and communicating findings to healthcare providers
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and imaging equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current certification as a Radiology Technician
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
