A receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional first impression for visitors and guests in person and over the phone. They are often the first point of contact for customers, clients, and employees.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting visitors and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes
• Maintaining a clean and organized reception area
• Assisting with general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments
• Providing excellent customer service to all visitors and guests

Skill Sets:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office software
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred
