A Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees in the workplace. They develop and implement safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the workplace
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Develop and implement safety training programs for employees
• Investigate accidents and near misses and determine root causes
• Maintain safety records and documentation
• Collaborate with management to create a culture of safety awareness
• Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
