A dance teacher is responsible for leading dance classes and instructing students in various forms of dance. They create lesson plans, choreograph routines, and provide feedback to help students improve their skills.

Responsibilities:

• Teach dance classes to students of all ages and skill levels
• Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs and abilities of students
• Choreograph dance routines for performances and competitions
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their technique and performance
• Organize and oversee dance recitals, showcases, and competitions
• Monitor student progress and communicate with parents/guardians as needed

Skill Sets:

• Proficient in various styles of dance such as ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students
• Creative and able to choreograph original routines
• Knowledge of dance theory, history, and terminology
• Patience and understanding when working with students of different skill levels
