Job Description: Debt Collection Officer

A Debt Collection Officer is responsible for contacting individuals and businesses that owe money and working to collect those debts in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Contact individuals and businesses to inform them of their outstanding debts
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors
• Document all communications and activities related to debt collection efforts
• Work with legal team to escalate cases when necessary
• Provide regular updates to management on the status of outstanding debts
